As I walked down Lake Drive,

these are the sounds I heard.

Generally these are the sounds

I and everyoneelse hears on a

daily basis, however we rarely pay attention to them. Through the recording everything

sounds so much more alive.

This was recorded while in a stationary position on Kenwood Blvd., during a rather busy time of the day. It's a really good example of stereo sound. You can hear completely different and unique noises in each ear. I actually placed each side of the microphone on different sides of my car and let it sit for 30 mins. Doing some experimentation with stereo sound again. Two guys are playing table tennis/ping pong in the union rec room, with a third guy in the background. I placed a mic on each side of the net.

This is it what it sounds like to be standing alone, at the top of the union stairs. There is a lot of 'space' in this recording. You can almost hear the depth. This was my intention, was it successful? Well... Click on the image to hear the sound.
